What are Wedding Detail Photos?

Wedding detail photos or flat lays are a collection of the important items on your special day. We take group and individual shots of each item to capture all of them. When we show up, after saying hi, the very first thing we do is get your details. By taking these photos at the very beginning, we can get these items back to you in time for getting ready for the rest of the day. The detail photos are important to us because we want to make sure to capture everything you deliberately chose to include on your special day.

Some of these items will be newer, others could be gifts from your soon-to-be spouse. They may have been passed down generation to generation, or perhaps just remind you of a special memory. We want to immortalize those perfect shoes, frame your rings together, showcase your invite, so many aspects of your day to be preserved! What come to mind for you?

The simplest way to make sure that we capture everything is to have these items put together in a ‘wedding container.’ You can even have a separate box for each spouse! That way, you can hand us your items as a single unit. We do our part, photographing them, and can hand them back to you all together.
