Olivia’s dad said his goal was to let her believe she was a princess for as long as possible. She got married in a castle.
The whole day at Wadley Farms in Lindon had that quality throughout. The kind of wedding where the love shows up in details most guests will never even see. Her dad took photos of the two of them together and had them turned into custom fabric for the lining of his jacket so he could have her close to his heart all day. Noah’s jacket had a tribute to Olivia’s dad inside his lining. Her mom’s wedding dress was remade into a robe for getting ready and a reception dress so Olivia could change and actually dance. Every single outfit meant something. You could feel it.
The flowers were absolutely breathtaking. The champagne wall was made entirely from thrifted glasses Olivia and her mom collected together, each one labeled with a guest’s name and gifted to them at the end of the night. The whole day was elegant and intentional and full of love from every direction.
Before the ceremony, Olivia did a first look with her dad and her brother at the same time. Both of them cried the moment they saw her. Her brother looked at her and said she looked like a princess. He wasn’t wrong.
At dinner, her dad gave the speech. He took the time to honor veterans, children of veterans, teachers, and doctors. By the time he finished, almost the entire room had stood up to be honored. There wasn’t a dry eye in the venue.
Olivia was in high spirits from the very first moment. Hyping up her bridesmaids, dancing with anyone who would join her. Noah was the happiest we’ve ever seen a groom see his bride for the first time, taking her in like he couldn’t quite believe it. He also loved getting photos and had no shortage of ideas. Both constantly stopped to talk to the guests that were there, and every person was so genuinely happy to see them and stop to chat.
The family also pulled off a surprise at the reception: Swoop, the University of Utah mascot, showed up. The room loved it.
Olivia and Noah, what a day you put together. Thank you for letting us be there for all of it.
We think you are going to love these!
