Melanie and Josh’s family and friends showed up ready to party. Loud music, everyone on the dance floor, with the kind of energy that fills up a whole room. And right in the middle of all of it were Melanie and Josh. Ready to party, but also with the constant energy of something quiet and steady between them.
That contrast is what I keep thinking about. Big, joyful chaos all around them, pastel colors and garden party details everywhere at Wadley Farms, and Melanie and Josh just calm in the middle of it together. Two steady people, sure of their connection and love, in the middle of a joyful celebration.
The kind of couple who are in a sea of bodies on the dance floor, but look like they are in their own world together.
Melonie and Josh wrote their own vows and read them looking right at each other, straight from the heart. Just the two of them, present and honest.
They gave us so much time for photos. Real space, ready to get it right. Melanie in that sparkly dress catching the light in every single shot. Josh watching his bride, always with a smile on his face.
Melanie and Josh, thank you for a day this joyful and this real at the same time. I hope these photos bring you right back to the middle of that dance floor.
Here is a look at their day!
