Jacob kissed Madison’s hand all through the wedding day. Not for the camera. Just quietly, every time he got the chance. That’s who they are together.
They’re goofy and they tease each other. And underneath all of that, there’s this quiet love that shows up in the in-between moments of a day, you just have to be paying attention to catch it.
Madison knew exactly what she wanted, and her bridal party showed up for her completely. The wildflower colors she chose (blues, pinks, yellows, peach) made everything feel like summer. She made her own floral arrangements, four of them on pedestals through the ceremony and reception. Her diamond is her grandmother’s, the grandmother she’s named after and she made her own ring box to put it in. Her necklace was from her mom. The swan cake toppers were stunning. This was a day she had built with her own hands in a lot of ways, and it showed beautifully.
The mother-daughter dance was a surprise. Madison’s mom raised all girls, no boys, which meant she never got a first dance. So Madison gave her one.
Madison and Jacob, what a day you two put together. Thank you for letting us be there for all of it.
Here’s a peek at everything we captured.
P.S. To the engaged couples reading this right now, Madison says: have so much fun, and remember. You’re planning a marriage, not just a wedding. The build up matters more than the little details. And when it comes to choosing your photographer, look at how the photos actually look. True color. True moments.
